Late afternoon sun lighting up leaves in the garden. This Weeping Katsura tree makes a tunnel over one of the garden paths which is bordered by Japanese painted ferns.
The foliage on this Pelargonium — planted in the Traffic Island — glows with or without sun.
The first maple leaves are starting to color up and add a bit of shine where they land.

Gorgeous foliage. I love weepy trees.

Heartstopping---the first maple leaf in its fall reds! How I wish we could see some of that here in Austin, but we have another month and a half of hot summer before October brings us some relief. Thanks for posting your advance taste of fall.
