Olbrich
Home Garden Tour
2012
Olbrich's annual tour of fabulous home gardens is this Friday, July 13 and Saturday, July 14. I'll be there because I can never turn down a chance to see a beautiful and inventive home landscape. I've visited a couple of these gardens in past years and welcome the chance to see them again.
This year's theme is "The Welcoming Garden" and I look forward to seeing how the various homeowners have turned this concept into reality. The entrance to my own home and garden is a design problem I still have not solved, so I will be on the lookout for ideas.
You can find times, prices and general tour info here and descriptions of the houses — many in the Highlands neighborhood — here.
I could sure use some ideas for my garden too. Can't wait to see what you see. Please take us along.

Go more homeopathic on yr entrance to garden. Since it's not expansive, make it less so...like FLWright's small entries that then open it.

Sounds wonderful! I've become such a fan of Olbrich since my daughter moved to Madison and we've been visiting her.
